Comprehensive Health Assessment

A comprehensive functional medicine health assessment goes far beyond a standard check-up. Rather than measuring isolated markers in isolation, it maps the interconnected systems of your body — gut, hormones, immune function, metabolism, and neurology — to reveal the underlying patterns driving your symptoms.

What is Comprehensive Health Assessment?

The Comprehensive Health Assessment is the foundation of all functional medicine care at our practice. It is a structured, multi-stage evaluation that combines an in-depth clinical history, advanced laboratory testing, and systems-based analysis to produce a complete picture of your health. Unlike a conventional annual physical, which primarily screens for disease, this assessment actively investigates function — how well your body's systems are performing and where they are beginning to falter before symptoms become diagnoses. The process typically spans two consultations: an initial 60-minute intake to gather your full health history, and a follow-up session to review results, identify patterns, and co-create your personalised treatment plan.
